Hello hello hello...first post for the holidays...HOW ARE WE ALL FEELING??? Good? That's awesome! So we'll begin with some jokes. Very punny jokes ;P
Okay, so this occurrence happened on Friday, otherwise known as the last day of school. And i reckon this 'joke' is by far the funniest, most intelligent joke. Haha yes, intelligent!
So i was filling out the sheets for people signing up for 40 hr famine:
Maansi: How many have you filled out?
....wait for it......
Me: SHEETLOADS!!!
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA dayum that fits in well!
So moving on, Saturday was a super busy day.
8:00 - 9:00 schwimmen
2:15 - 4:00(?) piano concert
4:00 - 11:00(?) party at my house...so basically i was late to my own party...?
but yeah, busiest day i've had this month...which has only just begun...and we shall wait for more and more things to unfold...wooooooow.
So moving on again, gosh, we're moving quite fast. Yesterday, i went to Bunnings. Yes, the wonderful Bunnings Warehouse - lowest prices are just the beginning *da dum dum* And we bought paint. Why did i buy paint, i hear you ask. Well since it's holidays, i decided that i wanted to do something useful...so i decided to paint the window frames!!! Yay!! I was planning to do some gardening too....coz we have this patch of stupid grass/weed and it's srsly impossible to do anything with it. Like i pull out all the weeds one day and the next day, this little fricking strand of grass just pops out and decides to explore the wonderful world we have. CAN'T YOU JUST STAY THERE AND LIVE UNDERNEATH THE SOIL???? It's pretty damn interesting...with the worms and shizz. Like dude, it really is annoying. It takes, what, 3 hours of hard labour, where my blood and sweat fertilises the soft, dry, retarded soil, to pull all the weed and grass out and it easily takes less than half a day for the weed and grass to realise that under the soil is not good enough...and decides to take on the challenge to discover new things. Normally this would be a pretty wise motto for all to learn from...but here's another fricking motto - stick to the status quo!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! So i've half given up on that patch of soil...i've already pulled it out three times...so that's 9 hours wasted on pulling out weeds and grass. I was originally planning to plant some lovely, colourful petunias........hibiscus, roses, daisies..no, wait they're weeds right??? lavender, basil, mint, carrots, rosemary, celery, potatoes, beetroot, fennel...no. Actually i did want to plant petunias, coz we actually bought petunia seeds but never got around planting them...and the weeds grew back before we knew it anyway.
So yeah......Bunnings. Oh the window painting was quite tedious coz i had to scrape the previous paint off and then paint over it...and now im waiting to do the second coat. But the scraping bit got really messy...(HAHA MESSI) and then i had to vacuum the area around it...which led to me vacuuming the whole house...and then i thought might as well mop the floor...so basically i did this whole house cleaning thing yesterday...it was quite satisfying actually....and yeah...my mum was quite shocked.
But the important thing is that my house now smells like paaaaintttt!!! :D yay okay i gotta eat some food...at 10:34....pm.....coz i didn't have dinner coz my dad went to hk...and now our house is under a state of anarchy...HAHA :D
BYEEEEEE
